On December 16, 2011, Janny Stokvis, SANE Vax Inc. VAERS analyst reported four new HPV vaccine deaths (3 Gardasil and one unknown manufacturer) have been posted to VAERS. Where is the Justice?
In the past three months almost 1,000 adverse reactions have been reported - and still only reflect 1 to 10% reporting. According to Stokvis the four new VAERS death reports include: 437971 (http://www.medalerts.org/vaersdb/fi... ) a hearsay foreign report of unknown age and gender; 437999 (http://www.medalerts.org/vaersdb/fi...) a male age 18 from Ohio who committed suicide by hanging himself 5 days after his second shot; 441365 (http://www.medalerts.org/vaersdb/fi... ) female age 14 - foreign report - with acute leukemia; and 442402 (http://www.medalerts.org/vaersdb/fi... )male age 15 from Oregon.
Yet the Merck vaccine machine continues to move forward bulldozing every obstacle in their way by changing laws, and paying off health agencies. Headlines in the Sydney Morning Herald on Friday - shouted - Give boys cancer jab as well, say experts, citing that 'ALL teenage boys would be vaccinated against the sexually transmitted disease that causes some forms of cancer under an extension of a scheme now available to girls, the federal government's expert panel, (the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee) has recommended. 1.

FLORIDA: Headlines in The Florida Independent on December 7, state Florida GOP lawmaker's bill would recommend HPV vaccine for young girls. "Senate Bill 1116 (http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Secti... ) would require the state's health department to 'adopt a rule adding the human papillomavirus to the list of communicable diseases for which immunizations are recommended.

Beginning with the 2012-2013 school year, each school shall provide the parent or guardian of a public school student entering grade 6 for whom the human papillomavirus vaccine is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration information, which the Department of Health shall prescribe, regarding the connection between the human papillomavirus and cervical cancer. The information must also notify the parent or guardian that a vaccine is available to help prevent human papillomavirus infection and that the vaccine is recommended to be given to females before they enter grade 8." 2.
SOUTH CAROLINA: The Times and Democrat posted a story on December 16, Lawmakers want emails saved, girls vaccinated. 'State Rep. Bakari Sellers, D-Denmark, has sponsored a bill to offer parents of female seventh-graders the option of getting vaccinations to prevent cervical cancer. Implementation is contingent on the availability of state and federal funding.
'Sellers said the health community has been supportive of the legislation.
"This is a good thing and it is already working in other, more conservative parts of the country like Virginia," Sellers said. "We have many health issues in South Carolina and cervical cancer is a killer here. 3.
Where is the Sanity?
Apparently, not at the CDC. On December 16 an announcement was posted in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly, aptly titled Public Health Prevention Service Accepting Applications for 2012 Class and Field Assignments. Hello, is anybody home? 'Health prevention'? But then again maybe the CDC has finally become aware they are preventing health and wellbeing through their associations with Big Pharma and the drugs being pushed on innocent medical consumers.
Through its 2-year field assignments, PHPS is available to support and supplement state or local health organizations in filling crucial program management needs...and health communication. 4.
Imagine CDC 'professionals' with master's degrees implementing health prevention programs in your community. Bet these qualified 'Health Preventionists' will come armed with needles and serums. Hopefully their health communication skills are better than the parent agency.

SaneVax Introduces One More Gardasil Girl: Kylie from Arkansas
21,474 adverse events and 93 deaths reported so far after HPV vaccinations. Vaccine injuries do happen. The time has come to find out why. The time has come to give victims of adverse reactions after vaccination a voice.
Before Gardasil, Kylie had been a cheerleader for eight years. She participated in tumbling, was in the marching band for three years, and sang in her school choir for five years. She went swimming almost every day in the summer. She played piano. In short, Kylie was involved in a little bit of everything. Now, she can barely hold down a part-time job. At a mere 19 years of age, after three years of suffering, Kylie has been approved for disability payments. She looks forward to the day she no longer needs them. Kylie just wants her life to get back to normal.
The following is Kylie’s story in her own words:
My name is Kylie and I am 19 years old. I had my first Gardasil shot at age 16 on 4/5/07 (LOT# 0171U) and have been very sick ever since. To start, this is the most painful shot I've ever experienced. I immediately felt nauseous and nearly blacked out while walking to the bathroom to vomit.
Following the first shot I experienced frequent abdominal/pelvic pain, nausea, and fatigue.
My second Gardasil shot was on 5/25/07, followed by my first emergency room visit for extreme abdominal/pelvic pain on 8/12/07.
On 10/12/07 I was given the final Gardasil shot. I saw a doctor on 11/7/07 for abdominal/pelvic pain and nausea/being unable to eat. The doctor prescribed me with Prevacid which had no effect on the pain that I was experiencing.
The pelvic/abdominal pain and nausea would come and go. It became an everyday pain beginning in 7/08 and has only progressed since then. At this time I weighed 115lbs. I saw several different doctors at the clinic that I used and none could diagnose my condition.
Many of the doctors suggested that it was "all in my head." I've had numerous trips to the emergency room for this stabbing pain in my pelvis area.
My condition gets worse as the days go by. Since 4/5/07, I have lost a total of 25 pounds. I have constant nausea. I still experience the constant pelvic/abdominal pain DAILY. The pain has traveled to my lower back and also up my spine. I have headaches/migraines multiple times a day. All of my muscles and joints ache, mainly in my hips and shoulders. My back feels like it always needs to pop but hasn't for the past year or so. I have a strange pain in my neck and behind my left ear from a swollen lymph node that never goes away and affects my hearing. I am extremely tired all of the time and spend most of my days resting.
I have frequent chest pain and difficulty breathing. My vision keeps getting worse and worse, and I am VERY sensitive to light. If I stand up too fast then I automatically see stars and feel faint. Some days my allergies (that I have no history of) act up so badly that I can't do anything. The lymph nodes throughout my body are all swollen from time to time.
Certain foods that I used to love make me very sick. I can't tolerate anything with dairy, msg, or soy, and for some reason I can't even handle lettuce.
Most of the testing done has all came back saying that there is no reason for the strange things that I experience… the pain that I NEVER had until Gardasil. I have had tons of blood work done, a dozen ultrasounds on my pelvic region, abdomen, spleen, gallbladder, appendix, heart, etc. My chest x-rays will show enlarged lymph nodes one day, and nothing the next. Most of my EKG testing is normal on one day, but on one occasion the result was that I had pericarditis (swelling of the sac around the heart), also confirmed by a chest x-ray and listening to the rub. A cardiologist did an ultrasound on my heart following the pericarditis and all of the sudden there was no sign of it being there… but the ultrasound THEN showed that I had a pleural effusion(fluid around my lung), which wasn't there the previous week.
It's strange how one day I am diagnosed with something abnormal and then all of the sudden it disappears. On one ultrasound I had multiple cysts on my ovaries. Within a short period of time, they had disappeared yet I was still experiencing the exact same pain as before. One of my back tests showed a concern for degenerating disc disease, while the next test was normal. At one point I went to an emergency after-hours clinic and was diagnosed with appendicitis and rushed to the emergency room. After arriving and having an ultrasound, my appendix appeared normal..?
I've done CAT scans, had an MRI, barium swallows, a laparoscopy, colonoscopy, and an endoscopy, all to show that "nothing is wrong." I've traveled out of town to see an infectious disease doctor who took NINE vials of blood, all results coming back normal. My doctors think that I have developed anxiety and that I am stressed. Who wouldn't be stressed out after this? I spend my days either sleeping, at the doctor’s office, or in the emergency room.
I was last hospitalized on 4/4/09 (Easter) for four days due to untreatable nausea causing constant vomiting (although I hadn't eaten all day), the WORST migraine ever, a 103 fever, and extreme pelvic/abdominal pain. The doctor basically told me that there was nothing wrong and that I was making it up because my tests were fine. Now just how do you make up a 103 fever and vomiting for four days straight, I don't know!
Recently I have been seeing new doctors at UAMS in Little Rock (the 3 hour drive stinks!). I've now had a capsule endoscopy and an endoscopy with biopsies of my stomach and small bowel. The test results showed that I have erosion in my intestines and that my stomach is swollen. I finally got another diagnosis just a couple weeks ago that I have severe fibromyalgia (widespread pain). I am EXTREMELY chemically sensitive, meaning that I can barely take any new medicines without it basically killing me. I also see a chiropractor daily to do electrical stimulation for nerve pain.
But in summary, I have lost 25 lbs, have severe food/chemical allergies, erosion in my intestines, swollen stomach, constant migraines, constant abdominal/pelvic pain, polycystic ovaries, back/joint pain, swollen lymph nodes, my hair falls out really bad, I've had pericarditis (swelling of sac around heart) and a pleural effusion (fluid around lungs), I experience muscle aches/twitches, sensitivity to light/smells, inability to stay focused, memory loss, fevers, metal taste in my mouth, EXTREME fatigue, dizziness, weakness, shortness of breath, painful periods that last for four months straight, nausea, and am unable to tolerate being too hot/cold.. I'm sure there's more but I just can't think right now.
Let me remind you that I had never been this sick a day in my life besides maybe the sniffles or a cold every few years, until I had these shots!
Do some research before you decide to get the shots, I sure wish that I had! Thousands of dollars in medical bills later.. I'm still just sitting around sick, unable to go back to college, unable to work full time, unable to go a day without excruciating pain! I spend more time at the doctor and counting pills than I do anything else! Who wants to hang out with you when you're sick, anyway?

FDA: Gardasil approved to prevent anal cancer
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved the vaccine Gardasil for the prevention of anal cancer and associated precancerous lesions due to human papillomavirus (HPV) types 6, 11, 16, and 18 in people ages 9 through 26 years.
Gardasil is already approved for the same age population for the prevention of cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancer and the associated precancerous lesions caused by HPV types 6, 11, 16, and 18 in females. It is also approved for the prevention of genital warts caused by types 6 and 11 in both males and females.
“Treatment for anal cancer is challenging; the use of Gardasil as a method of prevention is important as it may result in fewer diagnoses and the subsequent surgery, radiation or chemotherapy that individuals need to endure,” said Karen Midthun, M.D., director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research.
Although anal cancer is uncommon in the general population, the incidence is increasing. HPV is associated with approximately 90 percent of anal cancer. The American Cancer Society estimates that about 5,300 people are diagnosed with anal cancer each year in the United States, with more women diagnosed than men.
Gardasil’s ability to prevent anal cancer and the associated precancerous lesions [anal intraepithelial neoplasia (AIN) grades 1, 2, and 3] caused by anal HPV-16/18 infection was studied in a randomized, controlled trial of men who self-identified as having sex with men (MSM). This population was studied because it has the highest incidence of anal cancer. At the end of the study period, Gardasil was shown to be 78 percent effective in the prevention of HPV 16- and 18-related AIN. Because anal cancer is the same disease in both males and females, the effectiveness data was used to support the indication in females as well.
Gardasil will not prevent the development of anal precancerous lesions associated with HPV infections already present at the time of vaccination. For all of the indications for use approved by the FDA, Gardasil's full potential for benefit is obtained by those who are vaccinated prior to becoming infected with the HPV strains contained in the vaccine.
Individuals recommended for anal cancer screening by their health care provider should not discontinue screening after receiving Gardasil.
As of May 31, 2010, more than 65 million doses of Gardasil had been distributed worldwide, since its approval in 2006 according to the manufacturer, Merck and Co. Inc, of Whitehouse Station, N.J. The most commonly reported adverse events include fainting, pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and fever. Fainting is common after injections and vaccinations, especially in adolescents. Falls after fainting may sometimes cause serious injuries, such as head injuries. This can be prevented by keeping the vaccinated person seated for up to 15 minutes after vaccination. This observation period is also recommended to watch for severe allergic reactions, which can occur after any immunization.

Cervical cancer jab for girls aged 12 can be given without parental consent
Family rights campaigners have called for a change in the law after it was revealed that girls as young as 12 can be given the cervical cancer vaccine without their parents’ consent.
Doctors and nurses have been told they are under no legal obligation to seek the permission of the parent or guardian.
The jab is being offered to girls between 12 and 18 as part of a nationwide programme designed to protect them against the sexually transmitted HPV virus, which causes 70 per cent of cervical tumours.
Opponents have argued that giving girls the jab and protecting them against a sexually transmitted infection before they are even teenagers is giving them the go-ahead to experiment sexually.
Norman Wells, director of Family and Youth Concern, said: ‘Giving the vaccination to girls without the consent of their parents is unethical and a recipe for disaster.
'It is sending out the message that girls under 16 have a right to a private sex life and is treating parents with contempt.’
The Department of Health confirmed that parental consent was desirable but not essential.

Parent Files Lawsuit Against Gardasil Vaccine Manufacturer For Brain Damaged Daughter
Mother Warns Parents Against Vaccine Dangers
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- A local mother is suing the makers of Gardasil claiming her daughter suffered from seizures and got brain damage after getting the vaccination.
Gardasil is the vaccine given to women ages 9 to 26 to vaccinate them against HPV, a virus that can cause cervical cancer.
Tracy Wolf showed Action 7 News all her daughters' doctor records after getting the Gardasil vaccine.
Wolf's daughter Alexis has been sick for the past three years with uncontrollable vomiting and seizures which left her brain damaged.
Wolf said her daughter got a series of Gardasil vaccine injections in 2007 and 2008. Shortly after, Alexis reportedly went from being a happy, honor-roll student to a completely different person.
Doctors told Wolf Alexis' condition was behavioral, not medical.
"They had put her on psych meds, thinking she was bi-polar or something like that," said Wolf.
Wolf is convinced that the injections are to blame.
"Our main goal is to get this off the market," said Wolf. "Get this off the market and get them to stop."
According to Wolf, her daughter needs constant care. She said the refrigerator is locked because Alexis has urges to eat constantly.
Wolf said her daughter is narcoleptic during the middle of the day and cannot sleep at night and is in constant pain.
Alexis said she wants to go back to school but cannot.
An Attorney in Kansas City filed a petition in the United States Court of Federal Claims, seeking damages for the Wolf family.
The vaccine is made by Merck and Company. Action 7 News called the company numerous times and our calls were not returned.
The vaccine is FDA approved and has been available in the US since 2006.

Cancer Vaccine Programme Suspended After Four Girls Die
New Delhi: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has told Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat to immediately suspend the cervical cancer control vaccination programme for girls. The programme is part of a two-year study to look into the utility of a vaccine in public health programmes and acceptability of Gardasil, the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine made by Merck. Gardasil, available in medical stores across the country, is marketed in India by MSD Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd.
The programme was marred by controversy after four deaths and complications among 120 girls were reported after vaccination. The girls complained of stomach disorders, epilepsy, headaches and early menarche. Women activists fear the vaccine may impact the mental health of girls who have shown no signs of distress so far.
Health ministry sources said the vaccination programme is being conducted by Gardasil, jointly with PATH, a Seattle-based NGO, ICMR and the two state governments. About 32,000 girls, aged 10-14, were to be tested in the study.
ICMR chief Dr VM Katoch clarified ICMR was only a technical partner, with an advisory role, in the project. But Katoch said they were checking out who was at fault.
Questioning the study, CPM leader Brinda Karat said: “How has the government embarked on the study of giving three injections to the girls when it is also planning a massive multi-centric dose determination study to see if two doses will suffice?”
For a drug to be administered to children, Karat said, it has to go through stages of clinical trial, including phase 3 adult clinical trials. With Gardasil, only one trial has been carried out with a small sample of 110 girls, which has followed up with them for a month after completion of vaccination and that too only to look at the immune response post-vaccination, Karat said. The vaccine has also been approved for adult women aged 27, Karat said, without any trials on them.
Karat also alleged scientific logic and ethical guidelines have been violated at each step during drug and vaccine trials.

Time for the truth about Gardasil

Cervical cancer accounts for less than 1 percent of all cancer deaths, so it was somewhat surprising when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration fast-tracked approval of Gardasil, a Merck vaccine targeting the human papilloma virus that causes the disease, in 2006.
As of Jan. 31, 2010, 49 unexplained deaths following Gardasil injections have been reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (http://vaers.hhs.gov/index). By contrast, 52 deaths are attributed to unintended acceleration in Toyotas, which triggered a $2 billion recall.
No recall for Gardasil, which is required for sixth-grade girls in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and many other states. Parents can opt out, but few know the true risks.

Gardasil Researcher Speaks Out
Amid questions about the safety of the HPV vaccine Gardasil one of the lead researchers for the Merck drug is speaking out about its risks, benefits and aggressive marketing.
Dr. Diane Harper says young girls and their parents should receive more complete warnings before receiving the vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. Dr. Harper helped design and carry out the Phase II and Phase III safety and effectiveness studies to get Gardasil approved, and authored many of the published, scholarly papers about it. She has been a paid speaker and consultant to Merck. It’s highly unusual for a researcher to publicly criticize a medicine or vaccine she helped get approved.
Dr. Harper joins a number of consumer watchdogs, vaccine safety advocates, and parents who question the vaccine’s risk-versus-benefit profile. She says data available for Gardasil shows that it lasts five years; there is no data showing that it remains effective beyond five years.

This raises questions about the CDC’s recommendation that the series of shots be given to girls as young as 11-years old. “If we vaccinate 11 year olds and the protection doesn’t last... we’ve put them at harm from side effects, small but real, for no benefit,” says Dr. Harper. “The benefit to public health is nothing, there is no reduction in cervical cancers, they are just postponed, unless the protection lasts for at least 15 years, and over 70% of all sexually active females of all ages are vaccinated.” She also says that enough serious side effects have been reported after Gardasil use that the vaccine could prove riskier than the cervical cancer it purports to prevent. Cervical cancer is usually entirely curable when detected early through normal Pap screenings.

Journal reports teenager nearly blinded following vaccination against HPV virus

A 16-year-old girl developed near complete visual loss after being immunized against human papilloma virus (HPV), according to a case report published in the March issue of the Journal of Child Neurology.
Report authors Mirna Hajjar, MD, a neurologist, Thomas Ciesielski, MD, a pathologist, both of Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Conn., and pediatrician Francis DiMario, Jr., MD, with Connecticut Children's Medical Center, described the injury as chiasmal neuritis (inflammed nerves) with a tumefactive (swollen) demyelinating lesion that were observed through brain biopsy and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

The vision loss occurred about 10 days after the girl had received the second of three courses of the Gardasil vaccine.
The previously healthy girl had gone to the emergency room after experiencing progressive acute vision loss and a gradually worsening headache over a 48-hour period. She had no other symptoms and no family history of demyelinating disease, collagen-vascular disease, or rheumatological disorders. The authors wrote: “It is tempting to speculate whether there may be a specific immune mechanism initiated with human papilloma virus not yet identified, which resulted in not only acute demyelinating encephalomyelitis but also in an unusual clinical course that resulted in persistent visual loss.”
Eighteen months after her initial symptoms the girl continued to experience “persistent profound visual impairment” but had no additional neurological problems, according to the authors.
The authors noted that only four other cases showing an association between central nervous system demyelination and the HPV vaccine have been published and that larger epidemiologic studies are needed to confirm HPV virus immunization plays a role in demyelinating disease.
